2018 Flood Line Chardonnay
Eola Springs Vineyard sits on the gusty side of the appellation, exposed to the coastal winds, but situated low enough on the hill to not be obliterated. These unique Chardonnay vines are the subject of some local folklore - once identified as Mendoza clone, but in fact a massale selection of Wente clonal material from the vineyard’s original planting in 1972.

TASTING NOTES |
Spicy sandalwood and dried apricot aromas on the nose. A full- bodied Chardonnay with viscous texture and elegant wood tannin structure. Flavors of pit fruits (white peach especially) and marzipan dominate this an incredibly complex and cellar-worthy selection.
