BLEND | 60% Xarel·lo Vermell & 40% Sumoll
VINEYARDS | From Vinya Més Alta, located at the top of the Serral hill, the highest plot on the estate - an unusual stony soiled vineyard with excellent drainage and low yields.
WINEMAKING | Made in the traditional method. Vinification is done separately by variety and soil type in stainless steel tanks followed by blending and secondary fermentation in the bottle, aged for 42 months. Zero Dosage.

“The 2021 Textures de Pedra was produced exclusively with grapes from two plots of stony vines, their highest vineyards at the top of the property, where Pinot Noir was regrafted to local varieties. It shows the superiority of the 2021 vintage. This wine has evolved a lot since 2011, showing the potential of Sumoll. And in 2021, the blend has more Sumoll than ever at 40%, and the rest is Xarel.lo. The Sumoll adds tension and nuance, making the wine more complete and complements Xarel.lo. This is vibrant and pungent, with very small bubbles and fresh acidity. It is tasty, with a saline twist on the finish."

“The 2021 Brut Nature Textures de Pedra is composed of 60% Xarel·lo Vermell and 40% Sumoll from Conca del Riu Anoia, Penedès. It was aged 42 months on the lees and shows slightly mature aromas of cherry, herbs, a touch of rubber and modest complexity. Dry and chalky with a fresh, tense expression, fine bubbles and a hint of grip, it offers a precise blanc de noirs profile.”
