2024 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
BLEND |95% Cabernet Sauvignon, 3% Merlot & 2% Cabernet Franc
VINEYARDS & WINEMAKING |Handpicked grapes picked from Napa Valley, with a large portion grown in Rutherford. Destemmed and crushed for native yeast primary fermentation in closed-top vats on the skins for 28 days. The wine was then gently pressed and racked to 30% new French oak barrels from Seguin Moreau, Boutes, Taransaud, and Nadalie for complete malolactic conversion, followed by 18 months of aging.
TASTING NOTES |Driven by dark fruit - blackberry, boysenberry, black plum, and bing cherry - and layered with notes of graphite and cacao. This vintage shows a precise, compact profile with dense fruit extract, juicy acidity, and ample, fine-grained tannins. Expansive, chewy, and powerful, yet polished and elegant, finishing with opulent dark chocolate and cassis tones.
