From the hillsides of Condado do Tea including an extraordinary plot with 75 year old vines on slate soils. This is unique both because of the age of the vines, but also the slate component (most of the rest of the DO is granite soils).
Vinification and elevage in tank on the lees.
TASTING NOTES |
2019 was a smaller but outstanding vintage, especially for white wines in Spain which show brilliant, bright acids. The 2019 Neboa Albarino first strikes with a nose of just-ripe stone fruits, white honeysuckle and a splash of salt air. On the palate, the wine dances between strength and levity. Flavors of green guava, key lime and a light Diesel-y minerality. Outstanding length.
