01.25.16ROCA ALTXERRI Txakoli Rose 2015 || Getariako Txakolina 100% Hondurrabi Beltza From 25-40 year old vines planted on the seaside slopes of Getaria in the Basque region on the southern edge of the Bay of Biscay. Traditional vinification – harvested grapes are brought in and immediately chilled down to almost freezing temperatures. Vinification with native yeasts in stainless steel under a blanket of carbon dioxide gives the wine its signature spritz. MAS QUE VINOS Ercavio Tempranillo Rosado 2015 100% Cencibel (Tempranillo) From younger vineyard parcels of the estate (average 20 years), the grapes for Ercavio Rosado are grown on limestone and clay soils at about 750 meters altitude. After being handpicked at the end of September, the grapes are macerated for 8 hours and rosé juice is drawn off to be fermented separately in stainless steel tanks under strict temperature control. Aged sur lie in stainless steel until December. LECHUZA Garnacha Rosado 2015 || Cariñena 100% Garnacha This custom project was founded on a trip to the heart of Aragon, where Valkyrie discovered some extraordinary old plots of Garnacha. We selected from sustainable plots of old bush vines around the town of Longares, at an altitude of 530 meters on soils of limestone and decomposed chalk. Vinification and aging done strictly in stainless steel. RAVENTÓS I BLANC “VINS DE TERRER” La Rosa 2015 || Penedès 70% Pinot Noir , 20% Garnatxa & 10% Xarel.lo From two plots - Vinya de la Rigola in Sant Sadurní d'Anoia and Vinya de la Coma in El Rebato, vine age ranges from 20-50 years old. Calcareous soils with a clay sandy texture and high volume of round pebbles , shallow and with a low organic material content.Vinification and elevage in stainless steel.
